Thagu Chhen, A Boutique Hotel is located within 50 metres to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi access at all areas of the property.

The space and size of the suite are incredibly large and spacious. It features a generous living area with a balcony, which we didn’t use due to the air pollution outside. However, the living room was extremely comfortable, perfect for watching TV, exercising, doing yoga, relaxing, or even taking a nap. The kitchen is spacious but has only the basics, suitable for preparing tea, coffee, or simple meals. We requested a French press at the reception to make coffee, and they provided it immediately. The bathroom is large, but there is no curtain or partition to prevent water from spreading across the floor when showering. However, there is hot water. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room, but upon request, the reception brought one right away. The bedroom is incredibly cozy and inviting, with a very comfortable bed. You can choose between soft ambient lighting or brighter lights. The windows are soundproof, which is great since the room overlooks the street, but no noise can be heard inside. The room itself is also very spacious. We stayed on the third floor, and the staff kindly helped us carry our luggage up upon arrival and down upon departure. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious hot drink and a small welcoming ceremony, which made our stay feel even more special. One morning, they generously offered us a free tour of the more local, less touristy temples, and we absolutely loved experiencing the authentic atmosphere of the area. The best part? The service was absolutely outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, served at the restaurant of the hotel across the street, The Nanee. The service and quality were excellent. We also had dinner there one evening, and everything was exquisite. Thank you!

Hotel Tibet International is a minute’s walk from Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu and 1 km from Pashupatinath Temple – both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The lovely Tibetan-style hotel is a hidden haven of calm in the bustling Boudha neighborhood. The rooms are spacious—slightly dated, but very clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooftop restaurant serves delicious local and Western dishes, and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking.

The eco-friendly Kantipur Temple House offers a quiet oasis amidst Kathmandu’s historical treasures. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Rooms feature red brick walls and handmade wooden furniture.

A beautiful building. Really beautiful. It has a style and a soul. If you like traditional Nepalese buildings, and everybody does, you will love this one. Outstanding staff. High personal culture, great attire, naturally smiling, always very helpful. Excellent food that warrants a separate paragraph. Fresh and tasty. Served in a relaxing, quiet restaurant. It was so good that we never went for any street food even though street food was one of the things "we had to do". Perfect location. A short walk to Durbar Square with the Asan Bazar halfway through. You have all the Kathmandu noise and beauty just around the corner, and it's so quiet inside (our room window faced the inner courtyard). Some people may not like the smell of old wooden wardrobes in the rooms. I've found it charming.

The breakfast was homemade with options for drinks. We could choose the breakfast time from 7 to 9 am . Very flexible. 5 stars for all. The host family are the nicest and also the cost is very affordable. The bathroom is big and showers are available. I recommend having dinner with the host couple who are very engaging and will tell you the most local stories.

I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE!! STUNNING! Particular shout out of appreciation for the sauna/steam facilities, the yoga area (sooooo gorgeous), the staff who were absolutely lovely in every way. The buffet breakfast and dinner were exceptional. A truly divine place to have a relaxing break (we stayed here craving luxury after trekking for 14 days). I highly recommend splurging on staying here if you can!
