Charming boutique hotel with a great vibe and lovely outdoor spaces off our room. The staff was extremely friendly and food in the restaurant was good as well. We arrived late and decided to stay in for our meal, and it was a good decision, followed by a full and abundant breakfast in the morning. We spent the morning walking and shopping the village, and all shopkeepers just as pleasant. The gardens were stupendous and very appreciated.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
My stay at The Robertson Small Hotel and Spa by The Living Journey Collection was truly wonderful. The boutique hotel exudes charm and elegance, with beautifully designed rooms that offer both comfort and luxury. The tranquil garden and pool area provided the perfect escape, leaving us feeling completely relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. A perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace and pampering. Highly recommended!
Quite possibly the best small luxury hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s the tiny details that count. Car washed without asking. Hot water bottle put into bed while you are having dinner. Small little treats randomly appearing in your room. All of this is along side extraordinary breakfasts and fantastic food in the restaurant. The service from the table and bar staff was also lovely and friendly. The rooms are huge, and beautifully appointed. The old world ambience and gorgeous gardens cap it off.
Gorgeous cottage with breath taking views. There was everything you could wish for inside: excellent linen, aircon, heaters, fireplace with wood (it was very cold when we went), battery lights for loadshedding etc. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the picnic breakfast was lovely! We went for a stunning hike on the property too.
Moreen was such a wonderful person to welcome us and make us feel at home. She’s made the stay a 10! It was clean and close to everything we needed. Worked really well for two families. The splash pool was great for warm days. We loved the connecting stoep between the two units. Amazing artwork and great design. Lovely detail in the garden too.
