Heart of downtown but neighborhood safe and quiet at night. Various restaurants and an incredible Asian grocery store near by. Bed very comfortable and room is kept clean and in good shape. A few blocks from Penn Station and a few blocks from the 6 subway line. Walking distance to Times Square, Herald square, and Bryant park. Have stayed at this hotel 3 times and will stay again.

This Beaux-Arts hotel with a French Renaissance design has a restaurant/bar and enjoys a central Manhattan location. The subway is right next to the hotel, lovely stuff, clean rooms and amazing breakfast at The Press club grill.

Located between Broadway and 5th Avenue, Life Hotel is surrounded with dining options. Macy’s Herald Square is 483 metres from the property while the Empire State Building is 322 metres away. I had an amazing stay. I solo-traveled for work, and felt super safe at all times. The hotel has many rooms but it’s very cozy, which I totally loved. It felt like staying at a guest bedroom. I always had clean towels and the bed was made whenever I came back from a long day. You can hear some noise in the street but I won’t complain cause that’s part of NY’s magic. The hotel restaurant wasn’t operating but there’s a very nice and popular restaurant called Ayza just next to the hotel. Location is AMAZING. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was so kind and was always smiling and laughing. Such gleeful people. Even at 2am. The service was very quick and everything was a very easy process. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom as well. It was only two of us so there really wasn't any issue with how small the room was. It was definitely bigger than a hotel room in Japan is all I'll say.

Originally known as the Alcazar Hotel, this charming 19th-century historic landmark has been transformed into the beloved Hotel Stanford New York since 1986. Location was excellent. Easy to get to all the attractions & subway. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Couldn't ask for more!

Featuring air conditioning, Studios Midtown Manhattan offers self-catered studio apartments in New York. Empire State Building is 200 metres away. Free WiFi is offered . My flight was arriving late in the evening but my friends were there earlier. Our host allowed my friends to check in for me and was very helpful. The front desk staff was great and super friendly. All of them. The host replied to all of my messages and questions quickly with good information and made us feel very welcome. We had 5 girls in the room and while it was a little tight, we expected it and there was plenty of room for us all to be comfortable. We ranged from 24-26 yrs old and were going out alot so if you need more mirror room, bring one and possibly one with a light. The room was clean and had good towels and bedding. The location was my favorite out of all the places I've stayed in the city. You are close to the subway and plenty to do! Great food, shopping, and bars all around, there's a coffee store right beside the door! Overall, GREAT value for the money, not luxury, but perfect for a laid back group looking for a good place to stay for a weekend trip!

The place is awesome and extremely clean. Everything is so close by. Honestly, it's the best location in NYC. Easy metro access, many stores nearby, Herald Square is right outside with open seating - feels like a terace of your studio :) 24 hour check in! Amazing and responsive host, kind and helpful. By far, the best accommodation we had in NYC so far. Noises aren't too bad at all like other reviews say, and you can adjust heating as needed. Studio is situated in a historical building which adds to the experience.
