All very good, check in staff a bit confused. Was asked three times by the same girl was I checking in and my name. Three times about 4min apart. Bar staff over run and told us we would need to wait as he was making seven coffees. Apart from that the room, hotel and breakfast were all top notch.

Menu wasn't too extensive and no room service after 9.45pm

Ample, comfortable rooms. Conveniently close to Swords and to the airport. Very attentive host, helping in all practical matters needed. A pity we only stayed one night.
Tucked away in a quiet corner of ‘The Velvet Strand’, one of Ireland’s most stunning stretches of uninterrupted coastline - the historic Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links, once the family home...

Great food and friendly staff. Quiet countryside location made it very easy to relax.
Fancy being able to walk straight from your hotel room onto a beautiful golf course? This is exactly what you’ll get by staying at a golf hotel, which often features luxury facilities like a gourmet restaurant, a health spa and high-end shops. Golf hotels are often set in dramatic locations, so you can enjoy lots of different outdoor activities.
Reasonably close to the venue of the Irish Open golf which we had booked to attend.
Run by a very pleasant couple.
Nicely furnished, clean and comfortable.
Reasonable price for great location! Reception staff were super-efficient, friendly and helpful. We were kindly offered a golfing brolly for a mad dash to the car during a sudden downpour!
The room was very spacious, there was an en suite bathroom with bath and shower. We liked the surrounding area which was made up of a former golf course and duck pond.
We loved the surroundings: quiet and green. This hotel used to be called "Golf", so I suppose it was for golfers, as there is a nice golf field there. Very pleasant to walk around.
The microwave oven and fridge in the room is genius, especially if you are on the budget and bring your food from outside shops: there is a Lidl and other supermarkets within a 3km radius. Tram (Luas) can be used.
The photos on their website / booking.com page etc. are true and accurate: the lobby and rooms are exactly like that, no exaggeration.
