We were extremely lucky to have the entire apartment to ourselves--we were able to shop and cook--something we hadn't done in weeks.. Our hostess came upstairs in the evening bringing two big glasses of wine. She was lovely.

I traveled alone but the size of the room was enough for two people. Brand new room, bathroom and extra large kitchen if you want to cook your self. But there is no need since the owner Arpine is a great cook. You have fresh produce for breakfast and you can ask for lunch or dinner to be cooked for you. You can pickup your own herbs and fruit from their extra large garden.

The staff makes you feel home. The garden of the structure is really nice, and you can have a great breakfast there. We have been also offered of fresh fruits. The room was not huge, but clean and nice. The wc (in common) is huge. You can park inside the structure.

The room was clean with hot water, comfortable beds and the location very quiet. The owner gave us a portable heater to take the chill off the room. There is also a well equipped kitchen area. You can use the washing machine for 1,000amd. It is about a 10 minute walk into town where we had lunch at the fantastic Mood Cafe in the park. The owner speaks very little English but we used google translate.

Extremely friendly family who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay . Food (both breakfast and dinner) was delicious and substantial . Room and bathroom were very clean and there is an above bed light which is useful. Pressure in washbasin was weak but shower worked well. Unsheet should be bigger as it did not totally cover the mattress and was rather uncomfortable. , I

Gnishik is literally right at the end of the road, you can go no further, but the Eco Lodge certainly makes the journey worthwhile. The gent who let us in and gave us the keys was very pleasant and helpful and communication before arrival was excellent. It was made clear that the location was remote and that we would have to bring our food and drink with us. This was fine and the shared kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely en suite room upstairs with wonderful views from our balcony, especially of the beautiful rose garden in the back garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There was a problem with the WiFi in the early evening, but it was quickly resolved and worked very well for us after that; not good enough to stream, but perfectly well for browsing, emails, etc. We parked in the drive in front of the Lodge, but there are zero security concerns. If you get the chance to visit, then we strongly suggest that you do. The drive south from Lake Sevan is truly spectacular. The last few kilometres of road were pot holed and slow going, but perfectly accessible if you drive slowly. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax and we loved our visit. Very highly recommended.
