Room was good with a balcony. Beds were comfortable too. Breakfast was simple and okay. Only matter of concern was that this property didn’t have an elevator and the family rooms are on the 2nd floor. So if you have heavy luggage , then it will be difficult to carry them through the stairs. Although the owner helped me carry one bag, but it was still uncomfortable.

This traditional inn is just off highway A1 in Eugendorf, only a few miles from Salzburg. Gasthof zur Strass offers tastefully furnished rooms with free LAN internet access, as well as free parking.

Super friendly communication. The hotel has everything you need (even an elevator!). When there is no fog or rain (as in our case) the view is beautiful. Lovely terrase to drink a glass of beer/wine or coffee, Good parking options. Good breakfast.

The host, (thank you directly if you are reading this :) was just perfect. Very helpful with what to do, and kept talking in German which allowed me to practice, as I am learning the language. In many other places in Austria and Germany, people just tend to switch to English when they hear me :D On top of that, the area in the mountains is just gorgeous and the premises were nicely taken care of and clean.

Room was nice and clean , very easy access to the old town with the public transit ,bus/trolley stop at the door. Optional breakfast buffet is very good too. Parking fee at this property is also very reasonable compared to other places. Very friendly staff.

Nice hotel on the north east side of Salzburg (20 minutes from the city center). Property has a nice restaurant. Room was comfortable and the grounds are quiet! Love the place!
