Costa RicaMy partner and I enjoyed the stay, very attentive hosts. They offered us another room for our third guest at no charge, offered us another bed. Even when it rained they made sure to add an umbrella. It’s all about the little things!

The room is a bedroom in a shared, Costa-Rica-style house, so it gives the feel of a more local stay (as opposed to foreign-styled hotels). The hotel offers four kinds of breakfast even for those who book on booking.com without. Nearest beach is 8 min walk, 2 min by car, and you have everything you need close to the place (store, bakery, restaurant...). Staff is amazing, nice, efficient and discreet. We really enjoyed the pool, the secured parking for our rental car and the 2 kitchen to cook, make coffee and smoothies. Lovely grounds with the accommodations and pool away from the road, (The road was not busy). Plenty of lovely birds, big super clean pool, hammocks, shaded areas. Walk a block to the beach or five minutes to a store, restaurant, cafe etc and maybe 15-20 mins to centro. Beds and aircon were excellent. Big showers. Super staff. Fantastic coffee and breakfast. It was nice and quiet just how we like it with plenty of chairs and loungers to relax. Outside and inside was very clean. It was only a ten minute walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants - the location was definitely a bonus. The hosts didn't speak lots of English but they were very attentive and accommodating - thank you - we stayed for a week.
