Set in Aswan and with Aga Khan Mausoleum reachable within 23 km, The Mango Guest House offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a casino, free WiFi and a garden.

It is a nice property located in the center of the island, to get there with your luggage it is a bit tricky, but the hotel staff helped us. The rooms are spacious and breakfast is good and variated.

We had a very good stay. The room was clean and big. Guest house is 3 Min walking from ferry. We take a boat to nubian village Ghurb Soleil, highly recomended. We ate in the guest house restaurant, the food was delicious. All the staff very nice people, thank you for all Ali and Mohammed.

Featuring a terrace with quiet street views, a private beach area and a garden, Queen House can be found in Aswan, close to Nubian Museum and 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, colorful, and had vibrant, positive energy. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, even if not everyone spoke English—they all did their best to assist us. The host speaks English and helps to arrange activities at fair prices. Such a unique place to stay, thank you for having us!

Situated within 7.9 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and 25 km of Kitchener's Island, Maghrabi's Guest house features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Aswan.

I read some great reviews before booking our 3 nights there and they met our expectations. The owners are lovely hosts and they cross you across the Nile in their boat for free which is a plus as the guesthouse is situated in a very quiet area on the west bank. If you are in need of peace and quiet in a magnificent place, this is for you. Plus, the food they offer is very tasty (also try the hibiscus tea), the rooms are beautifully decorated without losing the nubian charm. They even helped out with the booking of a private car to Luxor. The guesthouse is one of the best places we have ever been too. I recommend it thoroughly.

Located within 23 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum and 1.1 km of Nubian Museum, ABAZIDO Nubian Guest House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Aswan.

We were very happy with our stay at Abazido. The breakfast was good. There is a terrace with great views to the Nile and the West. The Guest House was tricky to find, but once you get there, the location is amazing. You are right beside the village on Elephantine Island and it has a much more relaxed and authentic feeling to it, as against the hustle and bustle of the main part of the city on the East bank. You are soon made to feel part of village life. The highlight probably was our host, Mohammed, who was extremely helpful and friendly and in no way pushy in promoting his tours.

Offering river views, FADL Kato is an accommodation located in Aswan, less than 1 km from Nubian Museum and a 11-minute walk from Kitchener's Island.

The house is on an island, accessible only by boat. They lost my suitcase at the airport and it arrived the next day while we were on an excursion. The owner of the house kindly had to go get it on the other side of the Nile because otherwise they wouldn't have taken it to the accommodation. I was very grateful for the service.

Offering garden views, Nuba Heart is an accommodation situated in Aswan, 24 km from Kitchener's Island and 25 km from Aswan High Dam.

The owner Tamer was always helpful and organized good priced tours to Abu Simbel, Philae Temple and a taxi to the airport. Although the communication in English was a bit difficult, he was always available to call and tried his best to make us feel comfortable. The bedroom was also very nice.

Zolly was and excellent host, his hospitality was warm and welcoming and he couldn’t be more accommodating. The guest house it’s self is a nice spot over over views over the Nile and Aswan. Facilities are all up to scratch and the rooms well equipped. The guesthouse offers excellent value for money and you can put a price on the hospitality Zolly offers .

The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

This is a lovely, quaint guest house on the quiet side of Elephantine. We loved how peaceful it was and away from the hustle and bustle of the town: Mohammed and Basser were very accommodating hosts throughout the stay. A highlight being we got to go on Mohammed’s boat for a sunset journey on the Nile. Highly recommend!

Great location next to the Nile and 5 minutes on foot from the ferry. Also very nice rooftop to chill by the river. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, we were able to take our breakfast in a bag when we had to leave at 4am. He can also organize a trip to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price.

This is a great location, easy to access from the elephantine ferry boat port for a cheap ride and short walk. nice and peaceful. great host who is very helpful and organised felucca rides, boat rides and trip to Abu Simbel for us. there is a wee restaurant next door with yummy food - it takes a while to cook but is a nice relaxing atmosphere. breakfast is decent enough and served on the rooftop. the host is Nubian and the house is in a Nubian village. I highly recommend BAYT ZAINA.
