Friendly host who was an excellent chef. We recommend the table d'hote - superb meal. Close proximity to beautiful French countryside and chateaux and St Emillion. Beautiful room (please note no air con, which didn't impact us) and the pool is lovely. It's very peaceful and relaxing.

The hotel is really easy to find with excellent parking alongside, absolutely gorgeous building. Meals were FABULOUS. We visited in Winter, and the rooms were warm and cosy. In summer this property would be an extra special place with the verandahs and swimming pool. We particularly enjoyed the small well mannered cat who lives there, her presence is optional but loved having her company at breakfast.

Set in a 17th-century mansion with a vineyard, La Closerie de Fronsac is located just 6 km from Libourne Train Station. An organic breakfast with homemade pastries is prepared every morning.

A very special, beautiful and lovely place surrounded by calm nature and vineyards. The owner - Clement- is an amazing and charming host, who really wants his guests to feel at home. He build a special and spectacular place, beautifully decorated and such a lovely ambiance, especially the breakfast! Huge and spacious room, a few bugs but that's normal in the middle of vineyards :)

Lovely location in heart of wine country, vineyards all around . Room was great and communal breakfast was simple but brilliantly executed Nita was fantastic host and Helen tour of winery and vineyards with tasting was excellent
