Beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms are super comfortable. WiFi is great (no signal there at all). Stunning scenery.
Dinner was great - it’s a fixed menu but was lovely and great value (£35 per head for 3 courses).
We loved Glaramara. The staff were professional, proactive, self-starters and charming with it. Rooms were cosy, modern and well appointed for plugs/USBS and lighting etc. Food was great and most of all the fresh vegetables in good quantities a rare treat. The owner is clearly very hands on keeping check and running the hotel with energy and passion
Great location, 1 mile from Scafell pike so can walk there. Food was very good. Room was clean, tidy and modern. Nice log burner with sofas to relax on, looking out onto the hills, after a long day hiking. Would stop here again definitely. Thanks
This small hotel is comfortable, warm and friendly. The relaxed vibe is supported by the quiet efficiency of the owner and staff. Everything we needed was catered for. The breakfasts were delicious. We couldn’t stay for evening meals this visit but the other visitors were very complimentary. Will definitely return.
