The hosts Denise and Jim were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a family suite which was both comfortable and spacious. The views from our room were stunning. We had Heidi the Cockapoo with us and Denise pointed out some local walks on the doorstep. The car park opposite the property is good. Breakfast was delicious, the produce sourced locally and plenty of choice. We hope to return in the future.

Callum was a very helpful and welcoming host with awesome communication. The house itself is a lovely country style farmhouse and feels very homely. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the kitchen and living spaces are large and cosy. There was food provided for breakfast. The location is nice and close to several lovely villages including Richmond and has nice views of the surrounding country side.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Our host Steve met us at the station. This was welcome on a warm day. Property was large, clean and generally well equipped. The area was quiet - up hill from the town centre. Outside patio was welcome on the warmer days.
Lovely roomy house for a family. I really appreciated the spatulas in the kitchen, which you rarely get anywhere! It's in a great location, quiet and just a few minutes walk from the centre of BA and there are no parking restrictions. The "night lights" were appreciated.
Sean is a great host! The accommodation is in a great location (you can literally see the trains stopping just at the back of the terrace, yet it’s super quiet, you can barely hear them, even with an open window). The room is nice, clean and tidy, the kitchen is fully equipped, the continental breakfast is varied, the check-in process was quick and straightforward. Highly recommended!
The whole place was very clean and extremely well organised. The host is charming and friendly without being obtrusive. He has gone the extra mile to ensure everything possible is there for the guests. Its a shared bathroom but I had no problems getting in there, nobody hogged it and it was always clean and tidy.
The property was stunning, better than the photos! super comfy bed, warm and everything was new and clean. It’s so quiet in the area you couldn’t hear a pin drop at night. Really relaxing! Hosts were really helpful and left us some treats thankyou so much. All round easy and lovely stay and would love to return here!
