Glenan Lodge is a charming and lovely old home, nestled in the trees, where you can explore the local highlands. It's right next to the Tomatin distillery and there are fields of sheep just outside the door. I loved the peaceful location and the warm and helpful staff! My room was clean and safe, and I would gladly stay here again.

Our room was warm and comfortable. The lounge and kitchen were spacious and easy to spend time in. The location was convenient, with a bus almost to the door and a delightful half hour walk into town. We enjoyed sharing time with the guests in the other two rooms.

It was really comfortable We were the only guests staying for the 2 nights With the only use of 1 bathroom I think of all rooms were being used there would be a bit of hassle for the bathroom I liked the fact we could help ourselves to breakfast cereal coffee etc and liked the use of the kitchen We stayed at this property because it was close to the venue for a birthday party We were pretty much left to ourselves which was good I would recommend this property and would visit again

The hosts Val and Paul have a well appointed facility which goes above and beyond expectations. The rooms are tastefully decorated with lots of attention to details and amenities. From the bedroom and bathroom and the breakfast room, many niceties to make your stay special. Breakfast was cooked to order and served with a smile. Parking onsite. Val recommended a laundry service who did an amazing job. The facility is located on the peripheral of the town center which makes for a peaceful and restful environment. For a comfortable and cozy lodging experience in Inverness, Avalon is the place to stay.

    This is an excellent guest house offering comfortable beds, lovely meals and a nice bar. We really appreciate having an evening meal prepared for us and enjoyed the food emensly. Breakfast had great variety with something for every taste. This make an excellent centre for a holiday or stopover. We spent three days cycling on lovely quiet roads with super views. A warm and homely house. Our hostess couldn't have been more helpful.

    Beautiful little studio apartment nestled in a scenic and quiet location tucked away from all the crowds and tourists in Aviemore but close enough to travel there on a daily basis for the amenities Aviemore has. Kitchen facilities were brilliant and included all the necessities, and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend this as a base to explore the cairngorms national park!

    The room was comfortable and clean, with a decent sized bathroom. The bar was great bonus, Whisky from the distillery next door and excellent scottish cider. We could also get evening dinner, at the hotel, without having to travel into Inverness. Great hostess
