Set in Jambi in the Sumatra region, RedDoorz near Sultan Thaha Airport Jambi offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features a 24-hour front desk.

I had a very early flight at 6am, and I was afraid there would be no taxis/grab cars at that hour from the city centre. This hotel is literally walking distance to the airport, although if you have luggage, walking is not fun for 20 minutes or so. The hotel, however, arranged me a very reasonably priced transport (motorbike only) to the airport at 4am, which was excellent. The staff members are very nice - but again, what would expect, you're in Indonesia! :) The hotel has a very nice inner courtyard. There are some restaurants and eateries in the street, which I did not use, but they are there for you.

RedDoorz Plus near WTC Batanghari Mall is a 3-star property set in Tanjungjohor. This guest house offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi.

The staff members are very nice, some of them smiling every time I met them. They also did everything to find me a better room when I asked them. I could also leave my luggage at the hotel free of charge. There are good options to eat and shop nearby, the Batanghari Plaza is just a few steps away with lots of eateries near the bridge.

A gem of a hotel and quite unexpected in Jambi. Spotlessly clean, wonderfully comfortable, quiet, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every amenity. A delightful rooftop cafe/restaurant. Helpful, courteous, friendly and efficient staff. The best hotel I stayed in during an entire month travelling the length and breadth of Sumatra. Really first class.
