We liked the balcony and the open shower (despite the cold water). We liked the eating area and how it brought guests together. It was very quiet and peaceful, you can watch the sunrise from the bed!

Beautiful property in a quiet slice of munnar, some lovely walks in the area and it’s nice to be so close to the river. Owners are both super friendly and helpful, and the food from their other property was convenient and well priced but also tasted amazing (we highly recommend the kerala curry). We also completed a tour with them that I’d also recommend to anymore who stays here! Breakfasts were lovely and having coffee and chai on the balcony was a highlight.

    A must visit boutique hotel during your visit to Munnar. The hotel itself has a charming and cozy vibe and is situated just a few kilometres outside of the main city centre, perfect to escape the hustle and bustle and soak in the beautiful landscape of munnar. The staff were all very helpful, especially the property manager Mr Manoj who personally took us around the property to show us the mini garden within the property. He also made sure that we were well taken care of during our stay.

    The room was clean, the bed very comfortable (thick mattress), and the bathroom had hot water (even though there is no shower). The Homestay is 10 minutes away from city center on foot, but on the plus side it's really quiet at night, even during high season. The host and his son were both available and very helpful.

    I had a wonderful stay at Maharaja Cottage. This is located in old Munnar close to great restaurants (must go to Sree pure veg Restaurant) easy walk to the main centre. Close access to trekking. Roby and his staff are amazing and very accommodating. Room was clean and quiet. I had a small medical issue and Roby sent for my medicine. Roby was so kind and caring and a great host. Absolutely would recommend

    Manoj is a great host. He treats his customers with care. He walked us through the villa and made sure we are well acquainted with the insides and surroundings. Since we just had 1 day to roam around Munnar, due to time constraints, with our request he advised right places. You can also book your food from the villa if you can't go out. You can have wonderful pics from the terrace of the villa. Thanks Manoj, we hope to catch up again.

    amazing homestay, very quiet in the middle of nature, only one room, so very peaceful. clean room, comfortable bed, hot water. amazingly helpful family. incredible home cooked meals. I did a cooking class because of the tasty food which was great too. Silvy is a great host and helps with everything. She also offers guided hikes. highly recommended!

    Great location for a family vacation if you want a facility away from city center but amidst greenery. Size of room is adequate to accommodate 2 adults and 2 small kids easily. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Lot of trees surrounding the house. There is flowing water within 500 mts of the house which is an added attraction. Very relaxing surrounding.

    Perfect location in a beautiful and quiet village. Great location for those who rather avoid crowded places. The hosts are extremely friendly, open and charming - we really enjoyed their company. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The room big and comfortably, equipped with everything we needed. Best place around Munnar and very positive vibes.

    Really great hosts; provided breakfast lunch and dinner upon request for a small charge which was great as other food options required getting a rickshaw. When we wanted to leave early they didn't charge us for the extra nights we booked. Quiet and peaceful location, (far from things but everything is far in Munnar), nice outdoor space to sit and watch the birds! Room and washing facilities were clean.
