- Review score8.9Fabulous · 741 reviewsLovely hotel overlooking Gero Onsen. We had only booked bed and breakfast, and our rooms were well appointed and spacious, with views overlooking Gero. The Japanese breakfast was plentiful and good quality. The public Onsen had inside and outside pools which were spacious and relaxing, and very quiet when we visited. Even if the communication was a bit difficult (They speak little english and I speak little japanese) they were always very kind and helpful. They are very friendly and accommodating for me and my sister (who is blind). Lovely waterfall hike nearby and onsens in the nearby town. Easily reached by train. Felt homely. The elctric blankets were amazing as well as the breakfast. My room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious; the open air onsen was also lovely at night!
