Our two-night stay in this traditional hanok in Gyeongju was truly memorable. Our host was kind and welcoming and he provided a detailed map of the city with all the main sights and offered recommendations for attractions in Gyeongju. Thanks to his guidance, we were able to make the most of our short visit. The hanok itself is exactly as described on booking: clean, charming and full of character. A particularly thoughtful touch was the breakfast he prepared for us, even though it wasn’t included in the booking. It was simple but very much appreciated, and it reflected the genuine hospitality that made this stay so special. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and warm experience in Gyeongju.

We enjoyed the genius loci of the place - the historical center of Gyeongju. The host was waiting for us as we indicated late arrival. Check-in was perfect as well as the whole stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast because of a wonderfull surprise of our host. She used to be a dancer and during the breakfast she showed us traditional Korean drums and presented different Korean rythms and dance steps. That was marvelous start up of the day - absolutely fitting to the historical place of Gyeongju.

It was a really nice experience to stay in a Hanok and the host was so nice. I would do it an other time, when I come back to South Korea.

The Guesthouse was very clean and neat, and the room was also very comfortable to stay in. They had a mattress heater — so during cold nights it was warm. The other spaces of the guesthouse (e.g. corridor or staircase) were not heated, so during winter/early spring it might be really cold.

The 한옥 was spectacular. It was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. All our necessities were met even when we had a young toddler. The host was nice, making lovely breakfast every all mornings that we were there. Will definitely stay here when we visit Gyeongju again. It was an amazing overall experience.

The stay was quite comfortable and it was in a very nice looking hanok. Probably the choice of the room could be better as ours was tucked in a corner on the lower floor. What I find amazing is that there’s a huge tub area which we were told that if we wanted to use it, we have to pay additional amount despite the cost already being high.
