Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Hanlon Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Stanley, 400 metres from Godfreys Beach.

What wonderful place to stay, wish we had more than one night there. The room was extremely well presented and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Whilst we had no in person contact with the staff, the process of getting the key was easy and very well outlined. The position of the room is nearr the fairy penguin colony and the stanley nut so both in walking distance.

    The location was fabulous overlooking the coast near Stanley with a great view of The Nut. It was a very quiet location which made our stay even the more enjoyable. The amenities and cleanliness of the house was fantastic and the utensils and facilities offered exceptional. Our stay was made so much more comfortable and easy because of this. Even cooled water ready in the fridge! A great host and would love to come back again for another stay when in Tassie.

    Our room was modern and very tastefully decorated. There were also lovely homey touches such as vases of fresh roses on the mantel above the fireplace and yummy biscuits in the fridge. Breakfast was served in a delightfully decorated dining room and was very delicious. Amanda was a great host and I would recommend Mariner Rose as a great B&B for your stay in Stanley.

    Self contained secure room with fantastic modern bathroom. Bed was comfortable and location is central to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was simple and nice with access to coffee machine. Owners are friendly and great hosts.
