I loved Encanto lodge! The hosts Edu and Sabrina are amazing and go out of their way to make your stay special - we felt more like family visiting than paying tourists! Food was home-cooked, delicious and fresh! The location is incredible - you're in the jungle and can take a row boat right from the property to go wildlife spotting on the estuary. Edu and Sabrina can also help with all the arrangements to visit Cano Island and Corcovado which made the whole stay so smooth and stress-free. I loved how remote the lodge is and that it only has a few cabins, making it also very private. Wondrous experience!

    The hosts were very nice and welcoming. It felt like staying at someone’s private home. Delicious home cooked meals, everything fresh and delicious, but not fancy and pretentious. Freshly made tropical juices like guanabana and carambola. Lili went out of her way to help us. When we arrived late and hungry from a long night excursion, she had dinner on the table waiting for us. We were so grateful!

    Stephanie is a great host and made us feel welcome immediately. The hotel is a great space to unwind and relax with a pool and good garden reading spots. They even have a great outdoor kitchen were we cooked our evening meals.

    Perfect place close to Sierpe pier. Everything was great, we could use the kitchen, everything was clean and comfortable and Stephanny even dropped us off and picked us up from the Pier after our snorkelling trip. She is a great host and we highly recommend Cocodrilo!
