Situated just 36 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Capernwray House provides accommodation in Carnforth with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as bicycle parking.

Capernwray House is a lovely place to stay with excellent facilities, in a beautiful part of north Lancashire. The room we stayed in, (Kingfisher) was both spacious and very well equipped, with everything you could ever need. The breakfast was superb, with an extensive menu to cater for all tastes, and plentiful. Thank you Mel for making our stay so memorable.

Full English breakfast was hearty and washed down with fresh coffee. Super dog friendly welcome from all staff. Good sized clean room ticked all the boxes for a stay over after a day out in Windermere. Friendly, engaging locals and good sized, well lit beer garden to chill. Easy check in and out. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

Margaret had thought of everything. The room was beautiful, comfortable and a real treat for our anniversary stay. From a bottle of fizz in the room to help us celebrate, to the wireless phone charger-there was nothing that disappointed. Margaret was a lovely host and breakfast looking across the bay each morning was the icing on the cake!
