So glad we decided to stay here and bused into Pushkar instead (local bus or tuk-tuk very easy). Ajmer is often missed by Western visitors, which is a shame. Extra big rooms and bathrooms, lots of hot water. We had a private dinner on our 2nd night. A very special treat indeed. Many thanks to Sanjay for all his help. Sanjay is the best host - very polite and considerate, entertaining and informative. The home stay is beautiful, quiet and relaxed. The homestay is an oasis with a beautiful garden. The rooms are impeccable. Not only clean, but decorated with thoughtful nuances. And practical. They speak good English and did an excellent job at making us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. This is what you would hope to find in any Homestay.
