Home was exceptionally clean, smells great and the beds were super comfortable to sleep in.

Yuki’s Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for us. It was very relaxing, and the house was convenient and clean. Yuki had renovated his grandmothers house with good taste, it was modern but with tradition. It was nice to sink feet into the onsen water foot bath on the deck after walking around the peaceful surroundings. Yuki gave us also good information about area and was very kind as a host. We enjoyed our visits to the Youyu-an Onsen and Noah’s Coffee House where you can drink coffee grown in the Kirishima area. We could have stayed longer! Greetings from two Finnish ladies

Authentic Japanese experience in the countryside. The rooms were quite spacious, with a decent cooking area and dining room adjacent to the bedroom. We were comfortable on the futons and it was perfectly quiet throughout the night. The onsen was very relaxing after a day of travelling. The owners are also lovely, they made us feel very welcome despite the language barrier and even offered us a ride to the airport in the morning.

The host is very kind, helpful, caring and full of good advice and nice spots to visit. I also really enjoyed talking with him at the bar while making a Sochu tasting, he explained me a lot of things about it. I highly recommend you to stay there if you to visit Sakurajima !
