Set 26 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur in the South Iceland Region, 40 km from Fagrifoss, Hvoll Guesthouse features a barbecue and views of the mountain. Systrafoss twin falls is 24 km away.

+ 3 well-equipped kitchens available. + Cleanliness. - Many mosquitoes in the room - Washing machines and dryers are only accessible with a card which must be purchased at reception. As this is a self check-in and we arrived quite late we didn't know where reception was and couldn't do our laundry. So don't hesitate to ask before you arrive.

Such a unique place to stay. Bunk beds worked great with the children and me and my wife slept upstairs. Great to have a quick hot tub first thing in the morning before heading off for the day.

I was third time in this hostel - it is the best hostel in Iceland. The vicinity is wonderful with small lake and birds, you feel you are at the end of the world. You have clean rooms, large common room to eat something with well-equiped three kitchens. You can wash and dry your clothes (each 900 ISK). The hostel has got a big parking, many showers, good wifi. I love this place.

There are not many accommodation option in the area and this is probably the reason why this hostel is able to charge same price as much better hotels in other parts of the island. We had a small room with bunk beds approximately 2x2.5 meters.

Good value/money. It was the cheapest option in that area Spacious parking, big dining area, 3 well equipped kitchens, 2 massive fridges. The room is small with a bunk bed, but for 2 people is just enough. There is a small table and 2 chairs. Sink (very big plus), towels and a hairdryer. A lot of bathrooms in a good shape.

The best Hostel in Iceland - amazing locality, clean rooms, many toillets and showers, few well-equiped kitchens. The possibility to use washing machine. Big parking, free wifi. The area of hostel is calm, with the possibility to observe birds. Beautiful view on mountains with water cascades. I was here second time and want to come again. My small paradise :)

Youth hostel located beautifully a few miles away from the ring road, large and well equipped kitchen and dining room (as the hostel can also host larger groups), comfortable beds, rooms have a small sink, lots of shared bathrooms
