Great location next to Max Value (supermarket) and Daiso. Appreciated the in-room humidifier. Wonderful shuttle to and from the mountain. This is one of the few remaining affordable accommodation options in Niseko. Having first come in 2005, every trip I end up staying further and further out. Super clean and central in Kutchan for all the restaurants and night life. Be prepared that the rooms are very tight, especially with snowboard bags and luggage but as long as you set it up so that everything goes back in its place it’s a great little room. The owners were extremely nice and communicated everything well. There a bus stop for both directions at the entrance making it very accessible to either town. When I got hurt and had to go to the hospital the grandma at the property who used to be a nurse helped re bandage my ankle after the hospital didn’t do a good job and everyone checked on me every day. The beds were comfy and rooms were well heated. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped with all you need. The location was good, near to the JR Kutchan station, a supermarket and a 7-11. Ryo also provides daily morning shuttle to Hirafu, which is highly appreciated. Most remarkably Ryo is a friendly and helpful host, and a wonderful cook too :) This is one of the best hostel we have stayed in!Guest review byFui HanYoung couple
