Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of my trip and it was comfortable, clean and the dorm had AC which was a plus. Showers had great water pressure and provided body wash. The breakfast at the hostel restaurant was amazing! The guys at reception were really nice and helpful with information regarding the trains as well. Overall, I would recommend this hostel for anyone transiting through to their next destination or as a stop before their return flight.

The hostel’s common area is really good but beds are bad and made of steel pipes which are very unreliable and can give you cuts for which you would need a tetanus shot after that. The bathroom is not well lit. I would recommend people to go to Negombo than Havelock as Negombo is closer to airport and has more to offer. There is nothing in Havelock

Great hostel and very nice outside area. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious. The owner organized a free late breakfast for me on the last day after I realized I'd forgotten about the included breakfast, which was super nice of her.
