I was very satisfied with this accomodation. The place was near the city centre. Around 20 min. by foot from Sky Tower. The staff was great and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Boasting a shared lounge, a restaurant as well as a bar, LyLo Auckland Hotel is set in the centre of Auckland, 2.9 km from Masefield Beach.

Nice capsule, the people sharing the room kept to themselves, which I liked, the views over the city was cool.

Ideally situated in the Queen Street district of Auckland, Newton Lodge Auckland is situated less than 1 km from Aotea Square, a 12-minute walk from Auckland Art Gallery and 1.1 km from Aotea Centre.

The tranquility of the place and the respect for quiet hours, even though the hostel isn't large and many people were staying there. The bed was comfortable and you have the right to a locker, the bathrooms and showers were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great value for money hostel in Auckland. We booked a private room with en-suite bathroom which was comfortable and clean. The shared kitchen/lounge area was also clean and tidy and it was nice to have the patio area where we could sit and eat breakfast outside. The staff were very friendly and the free wifi worked well.

Set in refurbished historic building just across from Sky Tower, Surf ‘N’ Snow Hostel offers budget accommodation in Auckland CBD (Central Business District).

Excellent location. I had a solo room. The key was a little bit difficult to get into the room, but it would’ve been safe getting out in an emergency. There was no outside or street noise but in the early part of the evening there was some water gurgling in pipes but this stopped and did not affect my sleep. Staff were very helpful and I was amazed at how inexpensive it was for a solo room in the centre of town. I would definitely stay there again.

Located in a quiet tree-lined street, the 5-star City Lodge - Backpackers Accommodation is just 10 minutes' walk from central Auckland and the SkyTower.

Everything was great, except it would be nice to have a soap dispenser in the shower, and not just beside the sink outside the shower.

By far the best Hostel in Auckland. The kitchen as well as the bathrooms are always clean, the staff is friendly and the other Backpackers are respectful. It is a little bit more expensive than the other Hostels, but it is definitley worth the money.

The hostel has everything you need and it´s location is the best in the city. Sky tower, AA centre, Supermarkets, Buses, Queen street and a huge variant of restaruant just a few steps away. Beds are comfortables and you have a box locker to place safe your belongings. The staff is also super nice and helpful and the place is full of backpackers all the time so you will get to make friends for sure.

Very clean, very modern, felt very safe, loved the privacy curtains on the bunk beds, made friends even as a shy introvert, room felt spacious and quiet even with ten people! I stayed for a few weeks and couldn't believe how much it felt like home! Best hostel I've stayed in. Wish they were all this good!
