This hostel offers free unlimited Wi-Fi, a log fire in the guest lounge and heaters in all rooms. Guests can relax in the hammock in the garden.

Really nice place,staff and atmosphere. Bus stop right outside if you don't feel like walking from town where the airport bus drops you off,though it is only a 10 minute walk. Large kitchen with heaps of cookware etc to use and dining area. Not to forget hot chocolate pudding with ice cream every night for free, it was delicious. Washing/dryer $2 each another bargain.

Great welcome, everyone was very friendly. We were shown around which was nice. There is a bar and they serve meals, money off the meals if you are guests. OK parking around the back, easy to find once you know where to look! Good sized room, blackout curtains which we appreciate, and comfortable bed so we slept well. Good sized ensuite, everything was clean. Only pain was not having a sink plug, which makes shaving a chore. No hairdryer. No TV in the room but there is a communal lounge area. We arrived late and left early so we cannot really comment on it's location.

Was ok the staff lovely, but having been woken at 7am by the clean banging around in the kitchen I felt bit annoyed about.

The place, the atmosphere, it's small but very cute, warm and cosy. The design of the upstairs bathrooms is great. The rooms are relatively large and the balcony is inviting if the weather is nice.

    The hostel is in a great location being pretty much in the centre of town, and the main bus interchange is less than a five minute walk. The staff were excellent and the facilities were generally clean and well-maintained. The common areas were quite big and spacious which was nice as hostels often tend to have somewhat cramped common areas.

    This would have to be one of the best backpackers we've stayed in! Great location, comfy bed and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the restaurant and ate there twice!! Ghe place had a really good vibe and was a mixture of young backpackers and locals having a drink or meal.

    The atmosphere in the hostel was super pleasant. The staff was always friendly and helpful! Rob, the owner, is a great person who is always open to a chat. There is ice cream in the fridge and the wonderful garden invites you to relax. Great location! Can only recommend it!!

    A warm welcome and friendly staff at the hostel, which is cheap for Nelson. The kitchen is good and there's some nice outdoor space. Our room was in a second building, which was well-sized and with a shared bathroom/shower, which worked well.
