The blanket was a thin sheet not enough to sleep in the ac room. I had to put all my winter clothes on to fall sleep.

The location was incredible sitting literally right on the sea front, where having an early morning breakfast or an evening drink was stunning. The food was super and in comparison to Dubai - incredibly cheap. It was freshly cooked and always with minimal wait. The staff were very professional, kindly, and could not do enough for us. Tuktuks pass all the time and they are super cheap. 15 minutes to harbour. 30 minutes to whale shark visits. Just 15 minutes by tricycle to the whalesharks and a couple of minutes to the ferry for Pangloa The staff here are absolutley lovely and so helpful, especially Angie! They sorted our whaleshark trip out, our ferry to Pangloa and the tricycle driver. Good breakfast included and cheap prices for main meals. You don’t need to reserve, just arrive as early as you can (we arrived at 5am) and get in the walk-in queue. The hotel have staff who help you through it and shuttle you to and from. Relaxing atmosphere and the property is on the edge of the sea. Magic little place for a budget conscious traveller.
