Company info

We started our inn in 2016 to preserve the 450-year-old Fuji Oshi house and to share the culture of Mt. Fuji. We love traveling, music, art, and creativity. I also offer astrology readings and aroma workshops, which our guests can enjoy during their stay. My husband is a woodworker, and he handled the renovation of the inn and the interior design of the café. If you're interested in old architecture or renovations, we think you'll really enjoy it here. As a family-run inn, we hope our guests can relax and feel at home, just like in their own house. We cherish old traditions while adding our personal touch to create a peaceful and special place for everyone to enjoy.

Property info

Welcome to “Mt. Fuji Pilgrimage Inn - Hitsuki”! We started our inn in 2016 to protect the 450-year-old Fuji Oshi house. This inn at the foot of Mt. Fuji was renovated with a modern sensibility by the 18th generation owner, a woodworker, and was designated as a national registered tangible cultural property in 2024. You can spend a relaxing and peaceful time in a space where the good old and the new are in harmony. We also offer astrology and aroma experiences, so please enjoy a special time to heal your mind and body. We would like to take you on a journey filled with nostalgia and new discoveries.

Neighborhood info

The Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji sengen shrine is just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the inn. It is the starting point for climbing Mt. Fuji and has a deep connection to our inn, which is part of the Fuji Oshi community. The bus stop for the famous Oshino Hakkai is also just a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient. For dining, we recommend a stylish izakaya called "Sakigake," located in a renovated old house, about a 10-minute walk from the inn. There are also sushi restaurants and ramen shops near Fujisan Station. Additionally, you can enjoy the local specialty, Yoshida Udon, at "Fujisan Shokudo" and "Musashi," both just a 5-minute walk away.
