I chose this accommodation, because it was more or less close to the Ramsau ski center, within walking distance, but if you are lazy, there is a bus stop just next to the hotel. The host is amiable and helpful, very warm welcome and problem-solving. Fantastic breakfast! I did to have a chance to stay long in the room, but when I finally got to it, it was calm, and warm, with the hot water.

The rooms were sufficient enough. The equipment is a little older, but everything was clean and functionel. Breakfast was good. Very good location - like 15 minutes to Dachstein West area for skiing. In general, the price/performance ratio was very good.

Best location…right at the center…tasty breakfast…view from the balcony was surreal and beautiful…cozy big room, no TV and checkin only after 3 was a lil problem coz majorly town has to be visited in the day time and people just arrive at 12 or something so checkin after 3 creates a lil trouble..but that is a standard time i guess in Austria so that was okay…

The accommodation was an experience in itself! - lake and mountain view out the window - the mainly log style interior was very quirky and considered, i loved it! - super clean and comfortable - the staff were so friendly and very attentive - superb location, 7-minute walk away from the train station, the bus stops to and from Hallstatt (centre) were in front of the accom, very convenient - and the breakfast was excellent (food and service wise). You go down and the table is set for you.
