The one with 2 double beds was very spacious, plenty of room for luggage etc. The room with one double was very cramped, comfortable with a new shower/ bathroom, but we felt a bit claustrophobic. Jacuzzi bath in the room worked well and was very relaxing. - Review scoreGood · 1,507 reviewsCheck in was quick and easy. Room was a decent size and had a coffee machine/fridge. There was a large balcony as well. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was good and the wash basin was in the room rather than the bathroom, so it had more light for using the mirror. I also used the pool (which was great and it had a separate jacuzzi), I didn't use the hot tub as it was too warm outside to need it! The inn is 5 - 10 mins walk from the centre of the town. Ate at the Hearthstone Lounge and had one of the best steaks I have ever had. - Review scoreVery good · 1,498 reviewsFor the price of the hotel - $1000+ for two nights it was expensive. The room was large with a jacuzzi bath and sitting area but the decor is dated. The breakfast room was also basic but with a nice selection. Staff were nice and helpful. Location is about 15 min walk into town. The train track is close by so you do hear noise from that. A great base but very expensive - we are staying at The Fairmont in Whistler which is cheaper for the same duration. The rooftop hot tubs were a welcome luxury, great views of the mountains and very relaxing.
