The space is good for two people and probably ideal for a family with two children, but it would be a bit cramped for four/six adults. The campsite in general is very nice and in early June we found it very quiet and peaceful. We rented electric bikes from the campsite which were fantastic and very comfortable. An easy walk to the beach and, although we were a bit concerned that we adjoined a busy cafe, we were not really disturbed by it and we were offered free drinks each time they had an event. We were in the suite on the 1st floor. the stairs were fairly steep but manageable. The suite is very comfortable and has its own bedroom, lounge and bathroom. The location is perfect in the centre of the village and less than 10 mins from a stunning beach. The hospitality is exemplary and it offers laid back luxury which is just what you want on Ille de Re. Delicious breakfast and particularly comfortable beds.
