Hotel Josephine, in one word - perfect. In full detail, it all starts at the reception, where they take care of everything for you even at the time of booking. At the reception, they escorted us to the amazing room with a view of the Tyn Church, an excellent location in the old city and a breakfast that you don't want to stop eating. Warm and friendly people with a high sense of service. I recommend it to everyone

In recent years we have chosen this hotel repeatedly due to the exceptional staff and implicitly the services that are a perfect example of professionalism in the hospitality industry. All our thanks to Mrs. Michaela and Miss Diana at the reception who managed to help us with parking the cars in a nearby underground parking lot and made our stay very pleasant by helping us whenever we needed it. Another significant plus is the restaurant that has maintained its high standard over the years, a place recommended to any lover of Asian gastronomy. Finally, a final appreciative comment is related to the breakfast which has a very rarely seen quality, it is open until 13:00!!! The selection of dishes is relatively limited but their quality fully compensates and is complemented by a surprisingly tasty ramen soup. It certainly remains our #1 option for Prague regardless of whether it is a 1-night stopover or an extended weekend.

Great location BUT...
They didn't informed us that the water cost money (as it free all over the world!), and then charged us €4 per small battle!!

Great location and incredibly helpful, kind staff. The hotel is in an old building, so the room wasn’t very spacious—which is expected—but it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. A welcome snack and water were a thoughtful touch. The room was stylish and full of character. Just a short walk to the old town and everything worth seeing. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Old Town Square
This expanse of well-trodden cobbles has been the heart of Prague for centuries. With Christmas Markets in the winter and street bands in the summer, the square is alive with tourists and locals bustling to and fro. Watching over the scenes below are the Old Town Hall tower, the spires of the imposing Týn Church, and the surrounding patchwork of colourful facades.

Where many beautiful historic buildings are.
Where many beautiful historic buildings are. It’s lively and entertaining. The Astronomical Clock is beautiful as well as the Church Lady before Tyn.
Restaurants on square are good but much pricier due to the location.. a drink definitely worth it to take in the views.

Old Town in general is very commercialized.
Old Town in general is very commercialized. Plenty of U.S. chains throughout the area--MacDonalds, KFC, Starbucks etc. Very crowded. Restaurants in this area are not a good deal due to it being geared to tourists. To get an idea of the real Prague where locals hang out, definitely do not expect it in this area. Cross the river into the Mala Strana, and you suddenly see why people actually like Prague so much.

The Old Town Square is fascinating.
The Old Town Square is fascinating. We stayed at The Cube - about 300-500 metres from the square, we stayed 5 days and I could go back for another month and still not see everything. Prague is the most fantastic city. I loved it. So much to see. The food is delicious. People are friendly and fantastic. I walked about 15 km a day, and it felt like nothing. Book some tours with local guides.

Do your research about the buildings & sights around the old town and the square. The astronomical clock is a must, get there about 5 minutes before turn of the hour. We got there at 12pm and the sounds of the bells ringing at the church across the square made for a great video as the 12 apostles come out and move around the clock.

This was one of my favorite places on earth, now absolutely flooded with shallow-minded tourists moving like robots from one selfie spot to another.
Avoid high season and high time. At night, avoid it because of the roving bands of drunk guys in their twenties who think Prague is one big beer hall.
I adore this cultured city. The tourists are wrecking the experience. Come off season and at inconvenient times like early morning to see what we all loved about it. But if history and architecture and sobriety mean nothing to you, please stay away.

While it's an amazing a lively place, avoid eating directly in the middle of it. It's a tourist trap, you'll be pushed to leave a tip, or even worse, have it on the bill as "service fee".

I like everything on this hotel. Location, price, service, facilities it’s all good. Location is like 20-25 mins walk to Old Town Square. Many good restaurants around the area. I didn’t expect much at first bec of the price I paid but the hotel is exceptional. It’s all clean and receptionists are so helpful. Breakfast included as well and got good choices from cold to warm breakfast.
This hotel is well worth considering for a short stay in Prague. Our standard room was definitely 'no frills', but the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was good. The location is great; a short walk to Old Town Square and close to the metro and tram stop. Something to note: the courtyard shown in the pictures isn't the main entrance. From the street the hotel looks quite different - which was confusing on arrival.
Huge, well equipped apartment. Bed was uber comfy. Exceptionally located for the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge etc. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Very nice and clean hotel comparing to the price, staff were nice and friendly especially the guys in the reception, the room was very clean, the bed sheets and pillows cases smell good, everything was nice, they have two restaurants for breakfast both are nice same food just different halls, you can choose from a variety of food, and the location was good it was 15-20 min drive to the old town square, also there is a tram and bus station near by
The hotel and apartment was in the perfect location we were amazed that we were staying right in the old town square. Every morning when we went from our apartment to breakfast seeing the amazing famous clock. The breakfast was also great.
The location was generally good being about 5 mins walk from the metro station and 10 mins from the tram stop. It was a 20 min walk to Old Town Square. The hotel was modern and clean. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Excellent location, close to the train station, metro station and tram stop. Only 15 minutes walk to the old town square. Fully equipped apartment, nespresso coffee machine, fast internet. Apartment very clean, very comfortable beds. During our visit at the end of March very quiet and peaceful in the area and in the tenement house itself. Thanks to Francesco's kindness the apartment was available three hours earlier. Perfect communication with the host.
Beautiful hotel, located by old town square and is within walking distance from a lot of main attractions. Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is delicious and the room was comfortable, spacious and so clean. Would highly recommend
Breakfast is excellent. This time our room had only one wooden armchair and no coffee facilities. Other times we’ve been we had bigger rooms with tea/ coffee making facilities. Hotel is very central, less than five minutes’ walk to Wenceslas Square as well as the Old town square.
The hosts are adorable. One of the warmest checkin and checkout that I’ve done. They are also very reactive on WhatsApp and they are on time.
The apartment is very close to the Old Town Square, so it was so convenient.
The apartment is big and well equipped (with smart tv, iron, hairdryer, umbrellas, slippers, washing machine etc…).
We were able to do early checkin and late checkout (probably because it was off-season) which was a big plus for us!
