Amazing. Clean, comfortable, spacious — even for a family of 4. The breakfast provided and fresh bread were over the top! The location was close to everything. Highly recommend.

The hotel was charming, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was a short walking distance to an active downtime area, while still being in a more quiet, residential part of the city.

The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast buffet was decent, but the seating arrangements were a bit cramped, with tables placed very close together. The gentleman sitting at the table beside me accidentally knocked over a small vase containing a live flower and water spilled all over my table as he attempted to squeeze into his seat.

Get here just before sunrise for a delight.
Get here just before sunrise for a delight. Whilst it wasn't a completely clear day when I visited the sky did not disappoint with it's shades of orange and reds which reflected of the silver of the sculpture. I was even lucky enough to see a rainbow over the mountains! Stunning.

Beautiful art.
Beautiful art. Sadly no information to be found at the site that explained who made it, what it was made of, etc...
I also did not care for how many people were climbing on it.
Tip: if you want a picture of this go really early in the morning before all the people show up.

This spot is a must have photo op.
This spot is a must have photo op. Don't spoil the the sheer raw beauty of the stark sculpture and an awesome sunrise or sunset with a selfie. Let your camera record the structure and land/sea scape as it was intended. Easy to get to from the main street too.

I call it, the "Simple Beauty".
I call it, the "Simple Beauty". So unassuming but because of where it's positioned it becomes much more than just the scheletum of an old viking boat. It's beautiful with the sun shining over it and also at night under the lights!

Can you imagine something that size voyaging toward the setting sun? Yet they did. And landed here, settled here, struggled here, and they won. Perhaps because of its simplicity, I could place my ancestors in the seats.
