This was our third stay at a Mimaru hotel in Japan, and there are two main reasons for our repeat stays: the apartment hotel room layouts that are perfect for our friends group trips, and the top-notch, friendly Mimaru staff, who always go above and beyond to help with anything they can. (Special shout out to our man Louis at the Kyoto Nijo Castle Mimaru in March 2023, who gave us the best restaurant recommendations and set us up with dinner reservations and taxi arrangements for an early morning tour!) Continuing that trend, the front desk staff at the Mimaru Osaka Namba Station were exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful. They were all wonderful, but in particular for our stay, Maria provided great information for the day trip we were taking to Kurashiki, which helped us know how best to use our time there. And when one of our group became ill, Maria was also helpful in locating a pharmacy with the medicine we required. And then when our friend needed to find a local hospital, Josh was incredibly kind and helpful, providing translation aid and information, and following up to see how our friend was doing after. I cannot say enough good things about all of the attentive, friendly staff there. Needless to say, we would be happy to stay at another Mimaru again in the future, and we will recommend them to anyone we know traveling to Japan.

Waqoo Shitaderamachi is located in Tennoji, in Osaka. The accommodations is 1640 feet from popular areas such as Tsutenkaku and Shinsekai.

A nice hotel with comfortable beds. The location was good, but about a 30-minute walk from most of the attractions I wanted to see. The staff were nice and accommodating.

Perfect location for shoppers as literally you just need to go out of the small alley. Cozy hotel with free coffee, laundry facility, water and ice and vendo machine. Family mart and Ichiran is 3-4 mins walk. Bed was so comfortable and room is spacious enough for us (2 adult 1 kid) with 5 big luggage and s small carry on.

    If you are four people and are looking for a great place in Osaka, this is your place. It’s right next to Kuromon market, and is about a 12 minute walk to Namba station. There is so much stuff in this area, but at night it’s very quiet and perfect for sleeping all around are different restaurants, so you’ll never be bored. It’s an entire two floor apartment with a divider between the two beds for some privacy

    Breakfast is average. Location is about 18 to 20 minutes of walk from Namba station. Very close to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. I like the way bed was set up we both can have a way to get up unlike a lot of hotels in Japan one person has to climb to the other to get out of bed. Hotel is clean and free bread and coffee, tea in the afternoon.

    Buffett breakfast was good but it could be improved with different variety and options. There is no egg or omelet station. Food is limited to Japanese options. Location is outstanding only about 3 minutes walk from the Nankai Namba station exit with lots of restaurants and shops. Family Mart is near by around the corner. Rooms are fairly adequate and larger than most Japanese chain hotels.

    This is the 2nd time we had stayed at Apartment Hotel 11 Namba. We like that it has a bigger space compared to normal hotel rooms. Washing machine is useful. Location is about a 10min walk to Namba Parks and Namba Station.
