It’s our first time in Nepal, and we’re already falling in love—with the warm-hearted people and their generous hospitality. The hotel is right in the heart of Thamel, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The staff—from the manager and reception to the waiters—were all incredibly cordial and professional, making us feel truly welcome. The food was excellent, especially the traditional Nepali thali, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfasts were also delightful and filling. As a family of three, we were given a spacious room that made our stay even more comfortable.

The owner and staff of Karma Hotel Nepal were so welcoming and friendly, helped me with all my queries and offered great recommendations. The location is great, room and bathroom were very clean, A/C worked well and the bed was comfortable. Can highly recommend the place!

    beautiful garden, next to Thamel. Entrance fee, more for foreigners, some kind of a "rule" in some South Asian countries. It might be normal that we, the "riches" coming to visit poor countries, we "share" some of our wealth, as the main problem in the world today is wealth redistribution, which is a "shame" on us, the rich countries, exploiting the poors! Go to Dreams Garden, little expensive, but really not so much, and have a coffee or whatever you like, and enjoy the quietness and the beauty around you!

    The location is great. It is immediately adjacent to, but not in, the densest part of Thamel. To my surprise, the Garden of Dreams was only 3 minutes away by foot and lonely planet's top-rated restaurant in Kathmandu was 2 minutes away. The staff consistently provided excellent and helpful service. They arranged taxis quickly and without a mark-up.

    The location is really nice! You can walk to tourist attractions such as Thamel, Durbar Square, Garden of Dreams etc. All of the staffs are very helpful, eager to serve, polite and friendly.     We stayed here before and after trekking. Great location if you need to do shopping for your trek and prefer authentic/western brands. Very close to Garden of Dreams. The room is very comfortable and the staff nice and responsive. We left our bags here during our trek.

    This is a lovely, family run hotel. The rooms are well furnished, clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. We loved being so close to the bustle of Thamel, but in a quiet street right next to the Garden of Dreams - it felt like an oasis of calm in the city. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast as well as a good selection of tasty food in the evenings.
