It’s impeccably clean. Right at the beach. Staff are really nice and helpful. Tayrona is very close. You should be aware that the place is an eco-lodge, so you hear all kinds of jungle sounds, like monkeys jiggling, but you also wake up to the sounds of waves and birds singing, which is pretty amazing. It was my first experience like that and to be honest I loved it. The place is super calm and really peaceful, but there’s a lot of action in Costeno, just a short walk away. You can eat there too, even though it’s a hit and miss depending on the cook lol
Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino.

First, I need to say it was the most comfortable bed I ever slept on. Everything was perfect until we noticed that some people were getting welcome drinks and we didn't. Also.... putting 10% on each item separately doesn't seem fair.
Featuring garden views, Playa Mareygua Hostal in Buritaca features accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant.

Peaceful, tranquil, spiritual location and decor/ambiance with incredible views. Beautiful beach right there that you can explore, better than the Tayrona beaches 100%. Very quiet hotel (multiple signs saying “quiet please”) Ultimate relaxation.
All meals were 5-star quality for a good price (~$35USD total per dinner for two people)
Staff were very friendly and helpful, even if you don’t speak Spanish well they will work with you. Very kind and hardworking!

We had such a wonderful time at the beautifully located Finca La Selvita – a place we’d love to come back to anytime.
For us, it was the perfect spot to relax and just enjoy life. Surrounded by kind, warm-hearted people who create a super welcoming, family-like atmosphere.
Every single day, we were blown away by the insanely delicious, creative, and diverse meals. The chef is a true artist!
Everything was vegetarian and made fresh from the garden – just amazing.
And the chocolate? Straight from their own cacao – a real treat for the senses. The chocolate tour made us realize just how precious and special the process really is. I definitely appreciate good chocolate so much more now!
Also, fun fact: we had the most beautiful bathroom of our whole trip here! Can’t believe something so stunning exists right in the middle of the jungle.
Thank you all so much!

Amazing little tent right on the beach. Loved that they had no music and asked that guests don’t use loudspeakers, it made it possible to just relax and listen to the waves. Gorgeous location, great little restaurant and very atmospheric accommodation.

Julia the host is so incredibly warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were comfortable and the amenities offered were great. The location requires a 4X4 to get up the dirt road, we utilized moto taxis to get to and from our spot which worked well. The town around was lovely and we explored nearby beaches and waterfalls. Highly recommend! 😊
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Just stayed here for one night. Accommodation was small but nice. There are very limited facilities on site (we knew this in advance so it was okay but important to know) . Lodges are right on the beach and wifi was good. Bit of a smell from water in the bathroom. Good pizza next door in Los Hermanos
The lodge was perfect, the staff were awesome, it was good walking distance from other hotels/restaurant bars yet nice and tranquil during the night. Can't wait to visit there again!
the location is amazing, the lodge is very comfortable. the stuff was amazing, they took care of everything and they was super nice and help us in everything.
