Simón Bolívar International Airport is 50 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The breakfast was delicious and at such a lovely spot on the terrace of Joanna's house! The casita we stayed in was beautiful - a massive comfy bed and incredible views out to the sea. The garden on your approach to the house is full of butterflies. We saw birds, stick insects, huge butterflies. Joanna was really helpful with maps of park Tayrona and walks / trips nearby. We ordered food to the casita and Juancho's had an excellent menu and all really tasty too!

The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. Loved the location in the middle of the jungle and the view! You get to sleep pretty much inside the jungle but with the safety and protection of a stunbing natural place. Also, the attention is top! Thank you so much, we will be back! P.S: the walk (no car, if anything moto) to la Selvita from the road is 20 - 25min, with a natural pool to freshen up along the way. It totally adds to the experience!

But I'm so glad I decided to stay here in the end! Stunning location, great and friendly staff (including the dog), and well equipped eco lodge. The views were stunning and the food, delicious! Get ready cause, as mentioned by others, the boat ride can be tough. But it's totally worth it.

The room was beautiful! we could even see fireflies at night 🤩 Dore was super welcoming and helpful! it’s well worth the walk from the village to stay in this magical place.

The staff was very helpful and kind, they told us great tips for routes and places to get food. The whole place is very cute having a nice swimming pool, beautiful garden and very intimate and not at all crowded natural pools in a river 5min up the path. There is a restaurant next door, called doña Marta, which is a must. Local economic authentic food. Easy to get there with public transport. In conclusion, although it is a 10 min walk from the main road, it was definitely worth taking the time to find the place.

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. Santa Marta is 40 km away and Tayrona Natural Park is within a 10 minute drive. Free private parking is available on site. This place is like a heaven, it is quiet, down to earth, not busy. The cabanas are simple and authentic and at the same tame comfortable. All the facilities are awesome. It is one of the best places we have been and we had great time there. The personal is very helpful and smiley, near on the beach a few very nice bars and restaurants where you can go, so I would say that the place is very remote but only 5 min away you can go and enjoy a nice meal or cocktail.
