With mountain views, Hacienda Baru is situated in Dominical and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace. Free WiFi is provided.

Rooms were cosy and better than we expected. Pool was amazing and we spent quite some time just relaxing next to it. Restaurant was very nice with decent selection of dishes. We did a birding tour and guide Juan Carlos was very experienced and professional. We walked some trails and they also exceed our expectations as we have seen lots of birds, monkeys and even peccaries. Staff is just amazing! My mum suddenly had red and swollen feet and they drove us to Dominical to see the doctor (fortunately it was just a bad sunburn!) Marino Bellena National Park is just 25 mins drive away. We would really recommend it for a day trip. Just check the tides before going there, you would need to be there during low tide to get to the whale's tail.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a terrace, Paradiselodge Casa Romantica offers accommodation in Platanillo with free WiFi and garden views.

Absolutely gorgeous jungle setting not far from Nauyaca Waterfalls! The breakfast was yummy but we were surprised to find out it wasnt included in the price of the lodging which wasnt cheap. We learned if you stay in the apartments breakfast is included and the pool is close but we had to pay and walk a ways to and from our rustic secluded Casa Romantica. A little warm; no a/c and the internet didnt work up there. The staff were attentive and helpful and put a lot of care into the meal and cleanliness of communal areas.

Peaceful riverside location surrounded by wildlife. Comfortable lodge and friendly hosts who gave helfpul recommendations and organised our tours for us, and even kept a suitcase when we went for a few days to Drakes Bay. Nice to meet other guests over breakfast - a really chiiled vibe and a hidden gem.

Great location, amazing garden with rich vegetation and plenty of birds. A dip pool, very well maintained, cozy bungalows. An absolutely superb base for exploring the area. A short but steep climb with car to the entrance, can be a bit tricky when wet.

Tana was really a great host! Super friendly and she had nice tips on tours and where to eat. She also gave us a ride to the bus station so we didn't have to walk. In the room you have everything you need for a couple of nights in Uvita. There is also an outside kitchen which you can use.

What can we say! What a breath taking amazing one of a kind stay! We had coco 1 and it was just like something out of a movie. We’ve glamped a fair bit in the past but this is completely different! The cocos are constructed like a 5* hotel room, super comfy and luxurious. The staff are wonderful. Facilities are stripped back so there is an excellent breakfast but you’ll need to go out for dinner- the restaurant at the bottom of the hill is top notch! We even had a bath overlooking the sunset! The location is a 10 min drive from all of the best beaches in the area. Honestly don’t think twice- book this you won’t regret it! X

We stayed at the Eco Lodge condo. It's like brand new. We also went to the Lodge. Syd and Micah were so hospitable. They even made reservations for an excursion. This place is so cute, their rescue pets were very well behaved. The views were amazing, and you could hear the howler monkeys while eating breakfast! I definitely would recommend to anyone and want to go back!!

Very forthcoming hosts, great location if you dig the area. Nauyaca waterfalls were among our favorite falls of our 3 week roadtrip thru CR. If I return to this area, I'd def try to book one of the wooden villas in the upper area of the lodge. The horseback rising into sunset at playa hermosa was a great recommendation.

The view from the lodge is nothing short of stunning and the property is gorgeous. It's also conveniently situated within a short distance from several beautiful (and empty) beaches. Sid and Michaelynn are fantastic hosts: warm, friendly, and hospitable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious - well worth the extra fee. Highly recommended.

Really liked both Sid and Mika. Very great hosts. Helpful with everything. Scheduled my surfing lesson. Great pick. Restaurant reviews and suggestions outstanding. Help with where to go for provisions. Great storytellers. Will return to this eco lodge for sure. Real gem of a place.

If you are searching for a jungle lodge close to the Pacific, this is the place to be! Wake up with monkeys in your backyard and a stunning ocean view. The Pacific Edge Eco Lodge has 4 lodges with fully equipped kitchens, but Sid also serves a great and healthy breakfast. Michaelynn and Sid are very friendly and helpful. They will help you out with restaurants to lunch and dine as well as tours to book and places to visit.
