Nice stay at Sun&Green with Gayani. The place needs a little improvements and refreshments but we had a nice time with the swimming pool, settled into a lovely evergreen and flowery garden. Big shady terrace to enjoy. We didn't know at the time but Gayani offers tasty sri lankan food if you ask her. Good location if you want to visit Dambulla, Sigiriya and around. (main road but outside center town)

Fantastic staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They kicked up the spice levels back to normal for us, which was a rare find in Sri Lanka, as most places take out almost all the spice when they see a European tourist ordering. We would stay again

We had a very nice stay at Ela Addara Green Villa. It was such a cute and out in nature vibe; there are plenty of wild animals just outside the door (monkeys, peacocks, squirrels…), it’s a beautiful cabin and the owner seems to have lots of lovely plans for the housing and the garden. Also, and the owner is very kind, and he made sure to prepare us local breakfast on our first morning. Thank you so much.

We had a lovely stay at isanka lion lodge. The owner is really kind and helped us to arrange everything we needed. We also had an amazing home cooked meal and breakfast was delicious. Pool is great to cool down and relax. We stayed here with our 10 month old baby and the whole family loved to hang out with him and were helping us during diner time.

The place is in the middle of nature, which is what I wanted. You can hear all the beautiful sounds as you nod off to sleep and wake as the peacocks call you. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean. The air con is an up to date modern system. The outdoor shower is beautiful and hot/cold. You can walk to the centre of Sigiriya or Habarano if you're up for it, a combination of some Jungle, local area, and main road in about an hour to 1 hour 15min. Or you can get a tuktuk of course (at the time of writing this it is about 1000 lkr one way with a local driver off the street.)
