The quality, luxury and attention to detail in the accommodation and meals are exceptional. This place is not to be missed if you are lucky enough to be going when they have availability. AustraliaWe had a beautiful 3 nights at High Leys Lodge. The property, grounds and views are absolutely stunning. Our bedroom was very comfortable and also had a lovely outlook. The room was spotlessly clean. Sarah and John are very friendly and great hosts. The breakfast to order each morning was delicious and Sarah’s sweet treats she provided each afternoon were something to look forward to on our return from gorgeous driving day trips to fiordland national park. We would definitely stay again.

The beds are really comfortable, and the hotel area just has a really nice vibe. You can cook easily in the common room, and have it in your lodge. Close to Te Anau and 2 hours away from Milford. Possum Lodge is in a great spot, you can walk through the woods to the harbour for the boat trip to Doubtful Sound. Its just a shame there isn't a view of the lake. It's a peaceful and relaxing retreat surrounded by gorgeous views of neighboring farms. We really loved walking the grounds and getting to know the farm sheep and mini horses. + The dinner was such a treat-- beautifully prepared and so tasty.
