Such a tranquil setting with horses and lush green lawns. It's also pet friendly so you can take your fur-baby with. The pool was very refreshing and welcome with the hot weather we were blessed with. The cottage was sufficiently equipped with all the necessary items needed, although a hairdryer will be welcome.

Mountain View Lodge is situated below Kanonkop, and above the centre of the town of Montagu along Route 62. This eco-friendly property features a swimming pool and a deck which overlooks the valley.

We did not have breakfast at the Lodge. We unfortunately only stayed one night as we had a medical emergency and had to leave on Saturday morning. The short stay we had there was very enjoyable, and Alain and Maud were very friendly, professional, kind and helpful. I would recommend the Mountain View Eco Lodge to anyone that I know. We will visit the lodge again.

    It is situated on a beautiful complex with water and geese. We felt safe. The lodging was luxurious, we were able to keep warm with a gas heater in the living room and heaters in the rooms.

    We can really recommend the Wouterspan Lodge with great views also from the outside pool. Very well maintained place and perfect for people who search privacy in a luxury spot.

    The safari tents are very well equipped in a stunning location. We ordered the braai and breakfast baskets which were perfect for a short stay with minimal effort. The team also delivered firewood to our tent prior to our arrival.

    The house was perfect, just the break we needed. Location perfect, its really worth the money-value. We also got to do some exploring on the Safari Hop On - Hop Off - was the best way to explore the different wine farms around Robertson..

    The restaurant here is exceptional, delicious food and great breakfast. The view from the restaurant is superb as probably also from the double-rooms and main lodging area. The rooms are an experiment with smart-home automation system (Amazon-Echo based) so its probably a matter of taste if you like this, we found it interesting, but not completely convincing.
