Work is still going on so the corridor outside the room did not look very attractive (plastic over carpet). The shower was excellent. The hand basin was in the bedroom but was fitted in a unit with plenty of storage space for sponge bags etc. A fridge was provided but no facilities to make a hot drink. The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices to suit all appetites. The small bar near reception was a pleasant place to enjoy a drink before going out. Right on the edge of Alt Stadt, all you need to do is walk out the door and you are there amongst the lovely cobbled streets. The owner communicated very well before and during our stay.
