We stayed here as a base to explore the National Park, the Grossglockner Glacier, and the epic views from the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. The accommodation was perfect. Spotlessly clean comfortably furnished and all in a beautiful location. We ate and drank on the sun terrace and the owners and staff couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. I hadn't visited this part of Austria before, and definitely intend to return and wouldn't hesitate to book this guesthouse again. Highly recommended. Thank you to the proprietors.

EVERYTHING! Exceptional buffet breakfast included in price. Very tastefully mountain decor & very clean. Very close to everything as right in Heiligenblut. 2 min walk to the fab Dorfstub'm cafe restaurant. DISC TOLL TICKETS FOR THE TOLL ROAD TO THE GROSSGLOCKNER LOOKOUT. & Tunnel walk. (Don't miss this!} Central to biking, trekking, skiing {in season} Picturesque drives, plus more. Such a wonderful place. Stay at least 3 - 7 nights. We couldn't squeeze it all in with only 2 nights. Enjoy! 😍

Great location if you are exploring Grossglockner Alpine Road. Dinner and breakfast were very good, beer as well :) There were board games available for family and friends to spend time, as there is nowhere to go there and nothing else to do after dark. Room was OK, facilities and parking as well. Hotel is located after the toll, so you have to spend the day on the road, even if the weather is not good (or come another day and pay the road fee again)

Usually, I stay at bigger Hotels, but we rediscovered, how great it is to stay in a family-run hotel. We appreciated the host, location, fantastic view, sauna, cleanliness, and restaurant for dinners. The bus stop to Heliigenblut/Grossglockner ski area was actually in front of the ski depot room. Wifi worked excellently in my room. If we come back to the region, we come back to this accommodation!

Amazing place to stay, unfortunatelly we had just one night and weather was not good. We could not arrive on time due to trafic problems but lady from reception made late check out for us. Room was nice, calm and quite spacious - on the ground level so easy to move luggage there. If you wanna go to Grossglockner, this place is almost there. Big parking place in front of the hotel.

Outstanding location, convenient for staying before/after traveling through Grossglockner hochalpenstrasse. Great staff, traditional Austrian exterior and interior design, great traditional food on site, feather blankets and feather pillows in the room. I was allowed to put my motorcycle inside owner's garage, and to do basic maintenance there.

We chose this hotel for 2 nights on a motorcycle tour because of its location at the foot of the Grossglockner Pass and a pass to ride this toll road was included in the room price. Off street parking with no charge. We had breakfast and dinner and both were good, the trout was very fresh, straight out of the tank! Attractive rooms with balconies.

Very clean functional and accommodating hotel located on the road to the GrossGlockner pass. Easy access and restaurant located on the premises. Bar located next door and alternative restaurants located close by. Small town ,close to hiking. Parking was on site and staff was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast included. Great value.

Everything fine, only stayed one night on my way home from Großglockner Mountain Run, location is handy, right by the main road. I need to mention that their food is great, I'm not much of a pork lover, but their cordon bleu is exceptional! On the other hand I'd expect more from apfelstrudel in Austria.

We really loved this family run guest house in the Austrian Alps. The location is idyllic and quiet. The two sisters who looked after us were very kind and helpful. We had a great Austrian breakfast before heading off to the Grossglockner pass the next day - it is perfectly situated for that

Beautiful traditional Austrian Alpine guesthouse. Very comfortable and clean. Outdoor games for children. Delicious breakfast. Brilliant location close to restaurants in the village. Great starting point for Grossglockner Road trip. Welcoming friendly host. Great 1 night stay for family.

Perfect location to access the Grossglockner which enabled us to spend most of the day there. We requested a large room and we got one. Lovely hotel and everything spotlessly clean, and a good breakfast. Despite not offering evening meals, the Hotel Poste next door had excellent food.

The host welcomed us when we arrived. He took time to show us around. He also came with welcoming drinks (snaps). The apartment was just like in the pictures. The view from the apartment was great. You could see the Grossglockner from the bed and from the bathtub. Amazing!

Fantastic locality and magnificent view on Grossglockner and surrounding mountains from the room windows. Also charmy housekeeper working in the seccond house nerbay. We also enjoyed a beautiful rest in this apartment with fireplace and smelly wood fire in it.

The apartment is located in a very nice and peaceful area of Heiligenblut still the walk to the inner city is pleasant and beautiful. The view to Grossglockner is amazing. The breakfast is delicious and has a big variety of food and drinks.

Our room had a view towards the Großglockner and you can step right out of the door and see marmots or ibexes in the immediate surroundings. The room was well renovated and staff was friendly. Good and rich breakfast buffet.

One of the largest room of similar type hotels, clean, beautiful and comfortable. Location is unbeatable, so close to Heiligenblut and Grossglockner. The owners were very nice and helpful. Good breakfast.

Beautiful Alpine Hotel perfectly positioned following a day of exploring the Grossglockner Pass. Beautiful views from our room which had a wrap around balcony. Great choice at breakfast.

View to Grossglockner and the valley from the patio is amazing. Apartment is just off the Grossglockner high alpine road, but very quiet. Apartment was specious and had a nice vibe
