Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa is located in the centre of Lausanne and a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva. The Fine Arts Museum is 10 minutes away from the hotel. The food in the restaurant was so good. I had the fillet du perch two nights in a row! Highly recommend it. The bar lobby served great snacks as well, I highly recommend the prawn tempura with the side salad, to die for. The staff were very friendly as well. The receptionist Laura was even so kind to walk me to the main road in order to direct me and explain where to get the Metro.

Built in 1915 and representing an important part of the historical heritage of Lausanne, the Lausanne Palace is an elegant 5-star hotel in the heart of the business and shopping district. Attentive staff in a luxuriously appointed hotel and rooms. Very good with kids. Their room had special treats for them etc. Made the stay feel very special. The spa and pool was a lovely surprise.

Renovated and housed in an Art Deco building, the family-run hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian area in the centre of Lausanne, near Flon Metro Station and a 10-minute walk from the train... Everything is new and in supreme condition. Staff helpful and friendly. We also made use of the free public transport option, and enjoyed the doscounted parking. Great and varied breakfast with all the usuals including pancakes, fruit and vegetables. Sound insulation was great for such a central location. We were sure we were more or less alone until we came down to breakfast to see there were a lot of other guests. A real hidden gem, would absolutely come here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

Could be used in a movie The hotel should be one of the small leading hotels of the world. From lounge to kitchen to dining room and bedrooms, there were few things to fault. Any items you wanted from glass to pot to utensil to power lead to anything you could need. At 960m asl it pleasantly cool in midsummer and away from the stifling heat lower down in the Vaud. Transport links were excellent, except to France!
