I found my experience at Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz to be truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The value for the price exceeded my expectations, offering an array of activities to enjoy. The culinary offerings were exquisite, and the attentive staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I am grateful for having chosen this establishment and would highly recommend it to others seeking a memorable stay.

The hotel itself is beautiful, it’s small but comfortable and I felt safe. It’s definitely a hidden gem in Kampala. The staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were greeted with fresh squeezed fruit juice of either pineapple or watermelon (both are exceptional) and were helped with our luggage to our rooms. They offered complimentary breakfast which was delicious and we had the privilege of meeting the owner which really took the time to thank us and address any issues.

Our 3-bed pent house overlooked the pool and palmy garden area. The upstairs bedrooms had a fantastic view of the city spread over Kampala’s many hills. We loved everything. Facilities, ambience, food, service. Safe. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Mohammad the Ugandan waiter at the restaurant was super attentive to us. Thank you to Muhammad. We had massages and nails done by the Eric and his friendly staff at the salon. Thanks Sammy, Liz and Robin.

The best place to stay in Kampala. The villa is lovely with a luscious garden. The rooms are very spacious, well maintained, and super clean. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. We chose to use the services of the cook and we don't regret it! The food is delicious, authentic, Ugandan, and tasty. The staff is excellent 👌🏾 We will definitely come back 😊

Everything as described, host extremely acommodating and friendly. It is a compound with security , the apartment really good taken care of, The beds are super comfortable, kitchen accesories all in place. plenty of space to base your experience in the Kampala area within walking distance to several attractions. Supermarket and shops are within reach also. I would use this again no doubt.

Cozy apartment for 1-2 persons with everything needed for a short stay and attentive caretaker on site to help with any needs. Hostess was kind and responsive to texts. Small touches make this space homey and comfortable with a simple kitchen allowing for self-cooked meals. The location is perfect for anyone using the northern bypass and not needing to contend with Kampala city traffic.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience. The place was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. What stood out the most was the kind and attentive staff. I was comfortable and had everything I needed. From check-in to check-out, everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kampala and looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay!

The breakfast was outstanding, in a beautiful setting overlooking the golf course. The room was very big, with large bathroom and large walk-in closet. Staff were professional and friendly. Internet was excellent. Hotel had its own restaurants, Two malls were within easy walking distance. I have used this hotel on previous visits to Kampala, and have always been happy with it.

A perfect place to stay when you’re in Kampala. The dorms are extremely clean and breakfast is amazing! The staff (especially Johnny) are really helpful and knowledgable about the area. The Hostel is located in a surprise when quiet neighborhood. You won’t hear any traffic on the streets of Kampala, which is a good thing. I’ve got nothing bad to say about this property at all!

The place was very cozy, the beddings and furniture very comfortable. with a very fast good WIFI, The kitchen was well stocked with most of necessities needed for a start. The place location is accessible to Kampala city and major shopping centers. The host Harriet was the best ,very helpful, approachable and easy going. They provided cleaning services without a fee.

Breakfast was excellent, better than any I have had in Uganda in the 30+ plus years I have been going there. It was set in a very quiet location near the summit of one of Kampala's hills. The garden was an oasis of peace and relaxation, so quiet; no traffic sounds, no people noise. The staff were friendly and very attentive to my needs. It was perfect.

We celebrated our anniversary at Onomo Hotel Kampala. The hotel staff decorated our room in a very romantic way and was kind to making our experience memorable ❤️ The staff are very professional, polite and kind. Our room was very spacious and extremely comfortable. This hotel provides very good value for money. I absolutely love it.

Kalvin is the one person who considers and tries to understand every client's needs and is willing to help. He made my stay an easy and enjoyable one as it was my first time in Kampala. Generally stuff is very friendly, would want you to learn something about Uganda. I'd consider staying there again should I visit sooner.

The place where is the hotel is very far from kampala, very very noisy neighbour, all night barking dog, alarm from car, alarm from perimeter, 8 nights every night noise, i can not sleep. On day same noise , imposible to rest. Not recomand to nobody, more than week whitout sleep is not good, sorry from administrator is not enough

I booked and paid for nine nights. After five nights I was asked to leave because she had another booking. She knew this when she accepted payment for the stay. She drove me to a nearby hotel and she paid for me to stay there for the balance of my stay in Kampala. The property was ok but this treatment I found unacceptable.

everything, the place is beautifully curated within the African team and spirit… wanted to take everything back home with me… uphill the busy Kampala, it is a very quiet and green environment the Team is fantastic and always smiling… i would highly recommend and make if my place of choice for Uganda

Hotel located in a quiet area of ​​Kampala near the presidential palace with a well-kept garden and open restaurant. With the charm of days gone by, the hotel is appealing and invites you to linger. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good. Overall a bit old-fashioned but nice

The hotel was clean, located in a good area and has food that is pretty good. The staff were also very welcoming and tried their best to help me with what i needed during my stay. Special thanks to the team who sorted me out during my long work trips out of Kampala.
