Very comfortable king size bed, room was on 3rd floor and facing the rear of the hotel, it was quiet, considering how close the hotel is to the highway. It's super easy to find from the Long Island Expressway. I had stayed at this location several times when it was a Ramada - since it's changed to a Holiday Inn - it is greatly improved in just about every way.

This hotel was available on a difficult night to find a room anywhere near JFK; the friendly staff gave a warm welcome after a frustrating day travelling. There are lots and lots of pubs and restaurants located very close, which are open late, The AirTrain and Long Island Rail Road links to JFK from here are excellent as the station is just outside the hotel.

Overall this is a very good value for Long Island, easy to get to from the highway, but not near any beaches. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, very clean. The hotel is pet friendly - we brought our dog. Breakfast was excellent, but the buffet is not currently open. The breakfast vouchers are good for any a la carte breakfast order instead.
