-Ac is turned off , you have to ask them to turn it on and they do it only for few hours -Wifi not strong enough -Bathrooms get dirty very quickly, sometimes no paper and a lot of people for few bathrooms. -Lack of cleanliness ( blankets are used without sheets and are not changed when guests leave 😳) -People at the reception are rude and unprofessionnal with lack of communication and arguing all the time with guests. -Make you pay for everything (towel 10aed, laundry 15aed, keep you laguage 25aed…)

- The worker wanted to charge extra money for the down bed. - They are using social media such as WhatsApp to obtain the passport copy and reservation number, which is against Booking.com's policy for customer data protection.

WiFi could be a bit better

Everything is exceptional. Great value for money, Cynthia is literally the best and the most helpful person. She has information regarding almost everything. The staff is very accommodating.

They only turn the ac on from midnight to 4 am. So only 4 hours. I was asking them to turn it on earlier but didnt. The 6 bed double is in total 12 people.

The terms and conditions were not clear in the booking page. I would like to stay in the ladies only hostel.I found out my booking was in the the mixed gender room.To change that and stay in the ladies only I had to pay 100 aed extra which I didn’t budget for.

In short answer .. [ this moment that am writing this comment i already completed 2 months of booking there however some days checked out sometimes but eventually coming back for sure ,any how what I really liked that the staying in the hostel was seen as a way to keep our selfs calm and feel the same cozy vibes that we used to have it in our homes and make a new family and being with our big happiness feelings like its s home for us

Ms Cynthia, the property manager, was so kind to wait for my late arrival (midnight) due to delayed disembarkation caused by bad weather. The hostel is near the bus terminal (for airport bus and long distance bus routes such as Dubai, Al Ain, etc.) and a big mall with supermarket selling pre-cooked food of various cuisines. I was assigned to 4-beds room with ensuite T&B which is so clean, tranquil and comfy. If I will revisit Abu Dhabi, I will definitely stay with this hostel again. In fact, I took few photos of this hostel and shared them with my friends in case they wish to visit Abu Dhabi.

women who worked there is extremely rude - invasive - and narcissistic - do not respect people in the bedrooms - changing what you booked - turned away bookings because of weight - refused what they wanted - again changed what they booked because they wanted to control anyone that entered - clean 2 times a day - leaving water on floors and whatever was left behind in shared showers - would tell people to go out and purchase cleaning product to clean toilets that where dirtied and clean yourself - if someone complain about people snoring or making very little noise in a room that was share with 6 - the persons that snored was berated and moved - she would not move the person that was complaining - would tell the people that snored to get a private room or risk being kicked out - the one complaining should be asked to get a private room - it's a hostel - you will experience all sort in the sleep - you get want I am saying - she is Indian and would favour any Indian person that entered and be watching any others with hawk eyes and micromanage their coming and going - if they were in their room during the day - berating that the room are for sleeping - not to be sitting there on you r laptop or phone - again - people that complain during the day that they wanted to sleep for no reason would get preferential treatment and she would again berate the other to get a private room - she needs to worry about doing her job instead of inserting herself in things that is non of her business- that is just a drop in the bucket why not to go - cheaper place but not worth the rudeness and the complaining people that feel entitled in shared rooms - another thing - the AC goes on after 10 pm at which point you do not sleep because you are shivering under your covers - I do not exaggerate -if you are there one day - you will experience 1 % of this - Do not get a shared room if you are going got complain about the others in the room - get a private room! Hostel are not Hotel!

That said, it would be nice to have lockers in the rooms. Even with that, its still the best hostel i had in UAE.

The host Cynthia is remarkable and very helpful. The hostel is really clean and the rooms are spacious. There is a working kitchen area. The beds are on the harder side but still very comfortable. Also, you can't go wrong on the location, its located 3 min walk from the main bus station. Would recommend to everyone including solo females travelers that need a safe space to stay
