I request from the reception desk someone to help us to take our luggages and hanging clothes, we waits for 20 minutes and I call them twice, then we take our luggages by ourselves, when we reach the reception, we found the assistant guy stand with his empty trolley in the front door. Poor customer service.

Not clean They don’t cleaning windows, doors , I have no balcony or window I couldn’t see through the glass , it was so dirty and dusty The Room , with the dunes ,pics on Booking .com doesn’t exist I complained I travelled long hours to get this room facing to the dunes . The Staff showed me few rooms which a bit similar but they apologised and said is just its photo shop I waked around the hotel : True,no rooms facing to the Dunes The breakfast is poor Very poor I did not eat the ham and cheese scrambled eggs. Water , liquid was on the plate after 1 min they prepared the eggs it was a lot of liquid The worst Desert hotel I’ve ever been to Boring , dirty Hotel 305 £ I paid in low season / night no window ,no balcony room ( no dunes ) Didn’t worth the travel at all, Telal Resort beautiful nearby and

buffet menu is very limited, room service staff did not have fresh tea coffee options....no snack options were available in between breakfast & dinner. They really need to work on their food menu.

location is good, rooms are big nice and spacious overall vibe of the resort is nice. Treasure hunt was conducted for kids which they enjoyed a lot. Dinner buffet had good music and dance performance, it was a fun experience.

All the restaurants food is terrible, you don’t have much of a choice as all the restaurants seem to be connected and their pizzas are frozen pizzas. Quality food goes a long way and this is a turning point for people coming back.

Although the entrance, lobby and restaurant area looked lovely, as you made your way past those areas the rest of the hotel looked a bit outdated and needed to be renovated a bit. The pool is quite lovely, but even though it's meant to be an infinity pool, the edge of the pool just overlooks a brick path, rather than just the desert. There seemed to be a leak in our bathroom every time we used the shower.

The location was fantastic, can really see the stars at night, and have a stroll into the desert close by to the hotel. The architecture and look of the hotel was lovely, and rich in Arab tradition. Fantastic view of the desert from our window. Would've loved for there to be a balcony facing the desert. The staff were really great in accommodating my partners birthday, giving us a small cake on the house, as well as a couple of drinks on the house.

The food is OK. Nothing special. Would be nice if they had more dishes. Its a minimal buffet.

The hotel is beautifully situated. The pool is amazing and we enjoyed the belly dancing and quad biking.

2 of free dinners was not really tasty and meet wasn’t cooked well. Mattress was not really comfy.

It’s not the desert resort in the way we can imagine it, as there are no huge dunes around, and you can see construction sites around. Food is simple and poor. Electricity in the hotel doesn’t work well. Once you switch off the lites, you can’t switch on the light in bathroom and can’t charge the phone during the night. Some electrician mistake.

After rennovation the hotel has become cleaner and nicer

All the flies and the fact that Tilal Liwa Hotel will be closing their doors in the end of December! That is devastating!

The staff at Tilal Liwa Hotel are magical. We have been coming there for the past 10 years and we never get disappointed in the staff and the peace and calmness that the hotel brings. There wasn't an attendant at the pool. We had to keep asking the lifeguard to call a service attendant to order drinks at the bar. The reception at the sauna area was always empty, and nobody around to turn on the steam room.

The location was beautiful. The food was good and they had a nice selection of drinks. It's a lovely place for a weekend getaway from Abu Dhabi since the roads barely have traffic and the speed limit is 160 for most of the way.

The food was a complete letdown especially on the second night when it was decided to move the buffet outside!! Not enough tables, poor quality food dried out because of the heat; the puddings where melted slop… Basically inedible with no other options 1/5
