Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI respect the hotel's request for guests to wear masks in the communal inside areas. However, it didn't make sense to me that guests don't have to wear masks while getting food from the breakfast/evening buffets. Personally, I think the mask wearing rule should be applied to the buffet areas too. Also it would be great if the Starbucks in reception could be permanently manned, as the staff had to be called up from other areas. Once they arrived they were lovely, but it did sometimes take a while (through no fault of their own).
We chose this hotel as we were travelling with our 21 year old daughter and didn't want her to be in a hotel room on her own. The appartment style accommodation was perfect for us. The location is amazing. The hotel is at the quieter end of JBR and just a short walk from not only JBR, but also the marina and the Dubai Wheel. We loved the private beach area. There were always beds available with a choice of sun or shade. There is a cordoned off area of the sea for swimming which felt completely safe and the water temperature was perfect with some nice gentle waves from the passing boats! The staff at the hotel are all lovely and couldn't do enough for you, especially those serving in the restaurant. Shout out too to the security guards on the side and beach entrances, who were always so happy and friendly! This is our fourth visit to Dubai and our favourite hotel we have stayed in so far. We will be back!

FranceThe taxi to downtown Dubai (to Burj Khalifa) can be a little expensive (80 UAE) because the hotel is at the end of the Jumeirah beach.
The room was very big - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, living room and balcony. The breakfast was very good, you could order french toast, egg benedict etc. There's a nice promenade close to the hotel with a lot of restaurants and shops. All the staff is very nice, always greet you and are helpful.

United KingdomBooked two rooms, was given the second room with a double bed. The hotel knew we had three children with us, one being 13 ( girl) and the other being 12 ( boy) I had to sleep with my daughter and my partner sleep with my son. Was told we had to pay etc for two separate beds to upgrade. Paid so much money for all children to eat from their children’s menu. The menu is absolutely shocking!! No healthy options what so ever, the smallest portions and you don’t even get juice with the meals, only tap water. Even the paid adults meals come with water, you had to pay etc for juice or a glass of wine. If it wasn’t for the exceptional staff in the Kitchen I honestly would have cried most the holiday. They went above and beyond to make sure we left happy by giving us other options for the children to eat healthy. Langston and Akmed were amazing! Lastly, I was asked during checkout how our stay was… was told I’ll expect a call from the manager. It’s a week later and I’ve received nothing. I had family visiting the same hotel later this year they are now looking at other options. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Dubai over the years and this by far is the worst one.
The outside setting, pool and beach was beautiful. The kitchen staff were absolutely amazing!!! If it wasn’t for them my children would have had unhealthy meals the whole duration due to the poor option choices on the kids menu.

United KingdomCharging me extra money for my children’s breakfast and dinner despite me having booked a half board (breakfast and dinner rate). Not impressed at this at all and this matter was escalated to booking.com upon my return to the UK as the hotel refused to refund me the extra money that they made me pay when we arrived.
Clean and comfortable.

SerbiaThis is a disgrace to the Hilton brand. A month before my stay, I asked if I wanted a room on a high floor because I know the smell of food from the restaurant can be felt on the lower floors. Of course I got a room on the third floor. Room 304. For 6 days of our stay, we could not open the door from the terrace because the smell from the kitchen is very bad and enters the room if you leave the door open. I wrote to them on the first day and they said that we would receive an answer within the day. I got the answer after 5 days that they can change our room on the last day 🤮. The reservation team lie to hotel guests and are very unprofessional.
