Actually the hotel exceeded my expectations. I was assigned a very spacious bedroom , spotless, very comfortable and clean, with all possible facilities. A plate of fresh fruits was awaiting me on the table The staff was very kind and helpful, specially Jyoti and Manjeet. Excellent breakfast. Convenient location near the Creek a just across to Gold Market.

The fire alarm in the room was so disturbing when we try to sleep it goes on every 5 minutes and the room was nt clean until we have to ask or put the paper notice on the door

Swimming pool timings. it ended at 6pm and in this summer, pools can be opened at least up to 10pm with adequate lighting.

Even through I stayed in Gateway last year and their associate property Admiral Plaza in normal rooms, I got a suite this time. So I enjoyed the space and would like to stay in that suite with family if and when they visit me.

The location. Should had gotten somewhere closer to the mall. The taxis had issues finding the hotel.

We were welcomed when we arrived really early and Seemab organised an early check-in, and a room upgrade for us! The room was lovely and very spacious. We had a great breakfast in the hotel one morning. The hotel is in Bur Dubai which was bustling and interesting. It was close to a hop on hop off bus stop which was really useful as it was too hot to walk anywhere. We had a great experience at The Gateway, and it was excellent value for money.

Room was great, It was cleaned everyday and refurbished soap etc. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Even the consiage were extremely helpful guiding me getting around or getting taxi.

Room was great, the STAFF were EXCELLENT! they went over and beyond to help me with some issue, or getting to places, very friendly. It felt like they are family. I will definitely go back.

1. Lack of power plugs next to the bed. I had to charge my phone and laptop on the desk or near the bathroom door; 2. The room wasn't bright enough ─ even with all the lights on; 3. Housekeeping service changed the towels and cleaned the toilet, but the bathtub always looked slightly dirty. Maybe because it was an old bathtub ─ I'm not sure; 4. The bathtub lacked a shower head ─ this made a bit difficult to wash my private parts.

1. The staff working in the breakfast buffet were nice and helpful. They paid attention to my food preferences; 2. The doormen were ready to call taxis for me, carry my bags, and deliver my messages.

The restaurant team service for breakfast missed attention to detail, sometimes your sitting on tables with ni cutler our paper mat,you always has to ask,The supervisor standing was not observing these was details to advise his team.The housekeeping cleaning service was really bad, they don’t clean the room properly, especially the bathroom It seems that the bathtub was never scrubbed to remove dirt,they Dont replaced toilet paper and other items, even empty plate in the room was not remove, When we arrived at hotel there was a platter of dirty in room dining food from another room which was outside in the corridor for more than two day and no one removed it. I feel that the f&b and housekeeping team are a bit lazy, Regardless of these disappointments,The porter in the entrance was amazing. They were so helpful even assisting us to book a taxi for five pax and assisting us always with our shopping bags. They were the stars of this prop
